Taxila: Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan on climate change Malik Amin Aslam said EU is giving 250m euros to Pakistan for clean energy transition.
Malik Amin Aslam made this announcement at the inauguration ceremony of Solar based filtration plant. Malik Amine also repeat these words during public gathering in Manoonnagar area of Hassanabdal. He added that Pakistan is getting this money in substitute of 10 Billion Trees Tsunami project across the country.
10 Billion Trees Tsunami was Imran Khan’s vison and government wanted ensure transparency in this project, he added.
He said, third party assessment and observation of project through WWF-Pakistan, IUCN and FAO is underway.
He said that 8 billion worth projects have launched in Attock district in last fifteen months. As 45 filtration plants have installed in Attock, Hassan Abdal and Hazro city having worth of about 65 millions and will help to counter waterborne diseases. Every Union council of NA-55 Attock will gain 10 million Rs for development schemes.
He said opposition has no agenda they are doing politics on non-issues.
Pakistan has got sincere and true leader in the shape of Imran Khan, he said. Because government has completed all uncomplete projects which were not completed in last government, he added.
