Nazanin Aman Becomes First Female Trophy Hunter in Pakistan:
The contribution of women to the development of nations has always been crucial. It is undeniable that a country cannot achieve greatness, become a formidable force, or even sustain itself as a distinct entity without the active participation of women.
Therefore, it is essential not to underestimate the power of women. Dr. Naznain Aman, the first female trophy hunter from Gilgit-Baltistan, exemplifies this power. On April 10th, 2023, she successfully hunted a 42″ Himalayan ibex in Batura Valley Hussaini CCHA.
The trophy was taken at Qirgiz Wask, which is located 17 kilometers down in the Batura Valley at an elevation of 3500 meters above sea level. Nazanin Aman paid Rs 180,000 for the hunt, which her team completed in four days. The residents of the area received 80% of the conservation hunting charge. Shabir Rumi, a wildlife officer for Melaka, confirmed the woman’s successful hunt and recognized Nazanin’s accomplishment as Gilgit-Baltistan’s first woman wildlife hunter.
