Turkish Aid’s Agency is planning to launch 50 new projects in Pakistan to boost the growth of Agriculture, education and health in 2022.
Muhsin Balci- the programming coordinator for Pakistan at the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency –TIKA has made this declaration on 30th anniversary of aiding agency TIKA.
After Soviet Union collapse in 1991 , several countries of Central Asia announced independence. To assists newly formed countries of Central Asia on social and economic forum TIKA came into being in 1992.
Muhsin Balci said that recently TIKA is doing job in 150 countries in all over the world. TIKA has worked on 30,000 projects to share experience and knowledge in several fields including education, health and agriculture.
He made a visit in center of digitization for the preservation of rare books in library established with collaboration of TIKA. He also examined Blatu Hub Technology Lab funded by TIKA in 2018. Students showcased different projects and he commented that Pakistan is full of talented students.
He said to Anadolu Agency that we are increasing our supports in different sectors particularly in education health and agriculture sector.

Different departments and companies approached us to find technical help and we are trying to provide best services. He said we have aimed to start 50 new development projects in this year. These projects will facilitate different organizations to encourage young talent in Pakistan.
Recently five water filtration plants are also develop to provide safe drinking water to local residents.
TIKA has installed 60 KW solar energy project in Lakki Marwat district hospital. Which is capable to meet 90% of its electricity demand. Emergency Department of the District Headquarter Hospital Upper Dir is also a project of TIKA in province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. TIKA is also working to provide opportunities to residence.
