Naswar Declared as Illegal Drug in MiddleEast:
The use of Naswar has recently been deemed illegal in Middle Eastern countries, as per the Anti-Narcotics Force. The newly implemented law has included Naswar in its list of prohibited substances, and individuals caught in possession of it may face severe penalties.
As a result, Pakistani nationals are prohibited from carrying Naswar when travelling to the Middle East, and ANF has verbally instructed all airports to enforce this ban. Written instructions have also been posted for the convenience of travelers.
The ban extends to all airport personnel, including the CAA department, and employees caught consuming Naswar on airport grounds may face strict disciplinary action, according to a notification from the CAA.
