The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan is Rs426,036 per tola on Thursday, 5 November 2026, according to Pakistan Observer, Daily Pakistan and TechX. Silver is Rs5,663 per tola, according to Pakistan Observer and TechX. Here are all the rates, how they compare with other reports and what to check before you buy.
Gold Rates in Pakistan Today
| Type | Per tola | Per 10 grams |
|---|---|---|
| 24K gold | Rs426,036 | Rs365,257 |
| 22K gold | Rs390,533 | Rs334,819 |
| 21K gold | Rs372,782 | Not reported |
The 24K and 22K figures match in Pakistan Observer and Daily Pakistan. TechX gives the same 24K, 22K and 21K per-tola rates. Pakistan Observer says the domestic rates are from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Silver Rate Today
| Type | Rate |
|---|---|
| Silver per tola | Rs5,663 |
Pakistan Observer and TechX give the same silver price. Daily Pakistan does not report silver.
International Gold Price
Pakistan Observer gives the international price as $4,035 per ounce, up $139. It does not name the source of that figure, so treat it with care. The other reports I opened do not give an international price.
How Much Did Prices Change?
The reports do not agree:
- TechX says 24K gold is up Rs12,236 per tola from yesterday, and silver is up Rs295.
- Pakistan Observer says the 24K price is up, with a figure printed as “Rs13,90,” which looks like a typing mistake. It says silver is up but gives no amount.
- Daily Pakistan says prices “remained largely stable.” A related Daily Pakistan headline from 4 November mentions a Rs2,000 rise to about Rs426,000.
Because of this, the size of today’s rise is not confirmed. The price level of about Rs426,000 per tola appears in all three reports.
Different Report, Different Number
Minute Mirror gives a lower figure for 5 November: Rs424,000 per tola for 24K gold and Rs388,776 for 22K. Pakistan Observer’s page description also quotes Rs425,636, dated 30 October, which does not match the article. These are different from the main rate. They may be from an earlier time in the day or from a different source. Check with your jeweller before you buy or sell.
Compared With Last Week
In our 30 October article, 24K gold was Rs425,636 per tola and silver was Rs5,768 per tola on 29 October. Gold is about Rs400 higher today and silver is about Rs105 lower. This comparison uses different reports, so it is rough.
What to Check Before You Buy or Sell
- Rates differ a little between cities and shops.
- Jewellery has making charges and wastage on top of the gold rate. These are not in the rates above.
- Ask for a written receipt with the weight and the karat.
- Check the karat. A tola of 22K gold costs less than a tola of 24K gold.
- When you sell, jewellers often pay less than the market rate. Ask for their buying rate first.
This list is general advice, not from the sources above.
What I Could Not Confirm
- The exact change from yesterday.
- The source of the international price.
- The 21K per-10-gram rate and silver per 10 grams.
- Whether the Association’s official rate is the same as in the reports.
Gold and silver prices change during the day. This is not investment advice.
