There is no single booking website for all Pakistani embassies and consulates. Each mission runs its own online appointment system, and many now serve only people with a booked slot. This guide explains the common steps, shows how it works in London, Birmingham and Jeddah, and lists what to check before you go.
Which Services Need an Appointment?
The missions named below use appointments for NADRA services such as NICOP cards, for Machine Readable Passports (MRP) and, in the UK, for attestation of documents. Rules differ by country and by service, so check your own mission’s page.
Basic Steps for Most Missions
- Find your mission’s official website. Use the Ministry of Foreign Affairs list or type the address yourself, and do not trust ads or lookalike sites.
- Open the appointment or booking page for your city.
- Choose the service, such as NICOP, passport or attestation.
- Pick an available date and time.
- Confirm and save your booking proof, SMS or tracking ID.
- Bring the proof and your original documents on the day.
How It Works in the UK
The Pakistan High Commission in London says to choose your nearest city, which can be London, Birmingham, Manchester or Bradford, open that city’s booking link and select a date and time. It covers NADRA (NICOP cards), MRP and attestation or legalisation of documents. Walk-ins are not accepted for these services. You can change or cancel your booking through the online system.
The Consulate in Birmingham says to visit only with proof of an appointment. Its main rules are:
- Senior citizens over 65 and people with disabilities do not need an appointment and are served as priority walk-ins. A companion may come with them.
- One booking can cover several people signing one power of attorney.
- Bring photocopies of your original documents, since the consulate’s photocopier costs money.
- If you cannot attend, cancel so someone else can use the slot.
- Only certain UK consulates and the London High Commission can process NICOP cards.
- Questions go by WhatsApp or SMS to 07375072164, not the emergency number.
How It Works in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
ARY News and TechJuice reported in September 2026 that the Consulate General in Jeddah made NADRA and MRP services appointment-only from 1 October 2026. Bookings opened on 20 September. The reports say to:
- Open the consulate’s online portal, given by ARY as appointment.parepjeddah.org. Check this address against the consulate’s own site.
- Choose an available slot.
- Confirm and wait for an SMS with a tracking ID.
- Use the tracking ID to check your appointment online.
TechJuice says the services include NICOP and SNICOP renewal, reprint and modification, and Family Registration Certificate services. It lists these helplines: 012-6689149, 055-8577893, 055-8606308 and 050-1914472. ARY prints them without the dashes.
If You Want a Pakistan Origin Card
The Pakistan Consulate in Toronto says manual booking for the Pakistan Origin Card has stopped and applicants should apply online through NADRA.
What to Bring
- Proof of your appointment.
- Your original passport and CNIC or NICOP.
- The documents for your service. Check your mission’s list, since I could not find a full list.
- Photocopies, where the mission asks for them.
Fees
The booking pages I read do not list service fees. Birmingham mentions extra NADRA fees for Saturdays and home delivery. Check your own mission’s fee page before you go.
Common Problems
- No slots: Check again at different times, since cancelled slots reopen.
- Wrong city: Book at the office that serves your area and processes your service.
- Missed slot: Cancel in advance if you cannot attend.
- Fake sites: Only use the mission’s official website.
Stay Safe From Scams
- Booking is free on the pages I read. Do not pay agents for “priority” slots.
- Do not share your passport photo, OTP or card details with anyone offering to book for you.
- Book only through the link on your consulate’s official page.
What I Could Not Confirm
- Booking rules for other countries, such as the US, UAE and Australia.
- Whether the Jeddah portal address matches the consulate’s own site.
- Document lists and fees for each service.
- Dates on the UK pages. They show no update date.
