M.Amir Backs Shadab Khan Saying Best White Ball Cricketer in Pakistan:
Shadab Khan, aged 24, is one of Pakistan’s most skilled fielders and serves as the vice-captain for the Green Shirts in the white-ball format. At the 2022 World Cup in Australia, he made a notable contribution to Pakistan, taking 11 wickets and scoring 98 runs.
Following Shadab’s subpar performance in the recently concluded PAK versus NZ T20I series, fast bowler Mohammad Amir has come out in support of the all-rounder. Shadab has been struggling since last year’s T20 World Cup, and his recent efforts in the T20I series against New Zealand have been harshly criticized.
In the five-game series, Shadab only managed to take three wickets, and in the crucial final game, he dropped a crucial catch that almost cost Pakistan the match. In the 14th over, he missed Mark Chapman’s catch, who went on to score a game-winning century and help the Kiwis tie the series 2-2.
