Maryam Nawaz Expresses Confidence in Nawaz Sharif to Initiate a New Era of Development and Harmony:
Maryam Nawaz, the vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has provided clarity on the uncertainty surrounding the return of her father, three-time former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, to Pakistan. She confirmed that he will return on October 21, expressing belief that his return will strengthen the party.
Maryam Nawaz expresses that Nawaz Sharif’s return marks the beginning of a new era focused on progress, peace, and job opportunities for the youth to combat inflation. Speaking at a public gathering organized by the PML-N Youth Volunteer, she underscored that his return is not just about one person but about the progress and peace of the entire nation.
Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had previously announced Nawaz Sharif’s return date, set for October 21. Nawaz Sharif was disqualified in 2017 and went to London in 2019 for medical reasons but has not returned since. In anticipation of his return, the PML-N plans to file a bail petition with the Lahore High Court (LHC) to prevent potential arrest at Lahore airport, as he has declared a proclaimed offender.
