Over 6.5 Lac Students Apply for PM’s Laptop Scheme for 1 Lac Laptops:
The response from students regarding the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme 2022-23 in Pakistan has been remarkable. A significant number of applications, totaling 652,155, have been receive from 143 universities. This initiative aims to provide students with personal laptops, thereby assisting them in their educational pursuits. In previous iterations of the scheme, which have been highly successful, nearly one million laptops distributed. In the current phase, 100,000 laptops set to be award.
The selection process for the scheme is characterized by fairness and transparency, involving multiple stages of review and assessment. Its primary objective is to bridge the technological divide by narrowing the gap between those who have access to technology and those who do not. Through the provision of laptops to students, they will gain access to modern tools that will augment their educational experience and enable their active participation in the digital realm.
The selection of students will be based on their merit and academic accomplishments. Those chosen will receive laptops that will support their studies and unlock a wealth of educational opportunities.
