Pakistani cricket captain Babar Azam was awarded a prestigious prize – a Babar Azam Received MG HS car – by Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi. This recognition follows Azam’s exceptional performance during the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 season.
Afridi, through his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), shared a photo of a beaming Azam inside the brand new MG HS.
Babar Azam Crowned PSL 9’s Top Run-Scorer
Babar Azam emerged as the undisputed Babar Azam Led PSL 9 in Runs during PSL 9. His remarkable batting prowess saw him accumulate a staggering 569 runs in just 11 matches. This dominant performance further bolstered by an impressive average of 56.90, including five well-constructed half-centuries and a magnificent century.
While the Peshawar Zalmi team couldn’t secure the coveted PSL 9 championship, bowing out in the knockout stages against Multan Sultans and Islamabad United, Babar Azam’s individual brilliance remained a constant highlight throughout the tournament.
Azam Continues to Spearhead Pakistani Cricket
