In a media interaction after the fourth match against New Zealand, the left-arm pacer expressed belief in the Men in Green’s ability to reach the finals of both the forthcoming Asia Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup. When questioned about their preparation, Shaheen Afridi emphasized the significance of the series, as it serves as crucial preparation for the two major events scheduled in the next six months. At the age of 22, Shaheen Afridi also stated his commitment to performing to the best of his abilities for Pakistan.
