To Get Maternity leave Georgian Woman Was Charged With Faking Pregnancy:
Robin Folsom, a former director of external affairs at the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, has been charged with faking a pregnancy to receive seven weeks of paid time off.
Her colleagues grew suspicious when they noticed inconsistencies in photos of her “children” and that her “baby bump” seemed askew. After the Office of the Inspector General investigated and found no indication that Folsom had ever delivered a child, she resigned from her position and was later indicted on charges of making false statements and identity fraud. If found guilty, Folsom could face up to 25 years in prison and pay up to $103,000 in fines.
