Ali Muhammad Khan Arrested Again by Police in Mardan:
Once again, Ali Muhammad Khan, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), faced a second arrest immediately after being released from Peshawar Central Jail. This arrest occurred in accordance with a court order from the Peshawar High Court (PHC) that had mandated his release. Ali Muhammad Khan had initially been arrested for his alleged involvement in the events of May 9.
Earlier today, Ali Muhammad Khan was freed from the central jail after submitting a surety bond worth Rs0.1 million to the deputy commissioner (DC).
However, as he exited the jail premises, the Mardan police promptly apprehended him once again.
The Peshawar High Court had granted Ali Muhammad Khan’s release following a petition filed by his legal team, challenging the lawfulness of his detention. The court ruled in his favor, ordering his immediate release.
Nevertheless, the police re-arrested him before he could leave the premises.
After his arrest, Ali Muhammad Khan transferred to Mardan, where the police plan to conduct further investigations into the allegations against him.
