All Private Schools to Remain Closed All Across Pakistan Tomorrow:
In light of the recent arrest of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Kashif Mirza, the President of the All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF), has announced the closure of schools across the country due to the emergency situation.
The decision to close schools made to prioritize the safety and security of students, teachers, and staff members amidst the ongoing events.
Mirza stated, “Considering the emergency situation, all private schools in the country will remain closed on May 10th,” in an official statement.
He further mentioned that the schedule for regular classes in private schools would be determined after consultations on the following day.
Mirza appealed to students, teachers, staff, and parents to remain calm and exercise caution in light of the emergency situation.
Following the arrest of the PTI Chairman, protests erupted nationwide, prompting the Punjab government to enforce Section 144 in order to restore order in the province.
