Pakistan Air Force -PAF inducted J-10C multi-role fighter jets during a ceremony at Minhas Air Base Kamra on Friday. Imran Khan -Prime Minister of Pakistan and federal ministers, Chinese ambassador and service chief attend this induction ceremony of J-10C single engine fighter aircraft on the special invitation of Zaheer Ahmad Babar -Chief of the Air Staff -CAS and Air Chief Marshal.
While addressing to induction ceremony Imran Khan said that no one can cast an evil aye of Pakistan. He congratulated the nation on this historic occasion and thanked China for delivering these aircrafts in such a short period of time.
“The J-10C is a 4.5-generation medium-size fighter jet and is more powerful than the China-Pakistan jointly developed lightweight fighter jet, the JF-17, which is currently in service with the Pakistan Air Force,” Shi Hong -Shipborne Weapons Executive Chief Editor of the Chinese magazine, had reported the Global Times.
The Chengdu J-10 multirole fighter jet is significantly better than US made Lock Head Martin’s F-16 jet and capable to engage Rafale fighter jets of Indian Air Force, Shi said.
Pakistan is not going to replace JF-17 Thunder but addition of these jets will lead to more combat capabilities to protect Pakistan’s air space, Shi added.
