ISPR | Pakistan army conducts successful experiments on long range cruise missile” Baber IB” to make Pakistan unbeatable. According to the military’s media wing, Director General of Strategic Plans Division (SPD) Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj congratulated the scientists and engineers on achieving excellence in the domain of cruise missile technology. He expressed with his full confidence because this test will strengthen Pakistan’s strategic deterrence. Because India is spending much to buy weapons.
Pakistan had conducted small version of cruise “Baber” missile in February 2022. Which had limited capacity to strike in 450 km range. As missile “Baber” is highly capable of engaging targets with high precision and accuracy.

On Tuesday, Pak Army conducted successful experiments with same model as this model of Baber missile had range of 900 km, double the 1st version missile of same model. Director General, Lt Gen Nadeem Zaki Manj, Strategic Plans Division; Dr Raza Samar, Chairman National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM); Lt Gen Muhammad Ali, Commander Army Strategic Force Command and senior officers witnesses the launch of Babur Cruise Missile 1B, according to the army.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, President Dr. Alvi, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the services chiefs congratulated the scientists and engineers on the successful launch. Because they were aye witness.
Review of other experiments
In August, Pakistan had launched flight of ALFATEH-1 as ALFATEH-1 Pakistani guided-multi-launch rocket system. Which is capable of delivering conventional-warheads. In March this year, the army conducted a successful test launch of the Shaheen 1-A medium-range ballistic missile. “The missile spanned a range of 900 kilometers and the test flight aimed at the re-validating of various design and technical parameters of the weapon system including an advanced navigation system,” said the military’s media wing at the time.
