Radio Pakistan on Monday | TV channel will launch between three countries, Pakistan, Turkey and Malaysia. The project will strengthen the media corporation, Minister of Information and broadcasting Fawad Choudhary says.
In an interview with the press in Islamabad. He said that focal points for media sharing have identified. And that a cooperative media network will establish. The joint TV channel between the three countries will prove to enhance the audiences among all the Muslim countries and create a stronger bond between them.
Joint channel will over come Islamophobia because it is causing extremism.
Pakistan and Turkey media collaboration
Pakistan and Turkey have already announced that they will collaborate on historical play based Salahuddin Ayyubi’s life. Because Salahuddin was founder of Ayubid Dynasity and a brilliant warrior of Islam. He is popularly known as Saladin. He is the most famous Muslim ruler in the world.
Ansari & Shah Films in Pakistan and Emre Konuk, owner of Akli Films in Turkey, will collaborate on the series. After official announcement, Turkish producer Emre Konuk shared a post on Twitter as “Blessed Friday night”. Shooting of planned drama of Salahuddin will begin in April next year.
After the hit drama series of “Ertugrul” there was a high demand of Islamic historical play. As Ertgrul is most watching drama series in Pakistan because of Islamic traditions.
Basic purpose of joint channel
- It will give strength to media corporation among Islamic countries.
- It will high light Islamic traditions.
- This media plate form will counter Islam phobia.
In September 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan had first announced that Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia will jointly launch an English language television channel to correct misperceptions and confront the challenges posed by Islamophobia.
