Pakistani Student Traveled over 4,000 Kilometers by Foot to Reach Makkah for Hajj Pilgrimage:
A remarkable achievement has been accomplished by Usman Arshad, a Pakistani student, who arrived in Saudi Arabia this week after embarking on an extraordinary journey of over 4,000 kilometers by foot to reach Makkah for the Hajj pilgrimage. Usman commenced his odyssey from his hometown of Okara in October 2022, traversing through Pakistan, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates before finally reaching the sacred city of Makkah.
The inspiration to undertake this exceptional challenge sparked within Usman in 2021 when he embarked on a 34-day walk, covering 1,270 kilometers from Okara to the Khunjerab Pass near the Chinese border. His objective was to promote a positive image of Pakistan.
Through meticulous preparation and unwavering support from his family, Usman triumphantly concluded his arduous journey, fulfilling his lifelong dream of participating in the Hajj pilgrimage.
