The Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) announced the launch, highlighting the satellite as a testament to the strong technological cooperation between China and Pakistan. The launch ceremony will broadcast live for media outlets from SUPARCO’s facilities in Karachi and Islamabad. This upcoming addition joins Pakistan’s existing space assets, including BADR-A, BADR-B, PAKSAT 1-R, PRSS-1, PakTes 1-A, and the recently launched iCube Qamar – Pakistan’s first lunar mission that successfully captured images from the lunar orbit.
