PTV Introducing Streaming Platform PTVFlix for Iconic Dramas:

Millennials hold a deep sense of nostalgia for the Pakistani Television (PTV) series they grew up watching in the evenings. Even the mere mention of one of these legendary serials evokes fond memories of their formative years. Now, PTV has launched its first Over-The-Top (OTT) platform service, PTVFLLIX, which will enable viewers to relive those unforgettable moments.

PTVFLIX, a subscription-based platform, will provide access to classic dramas, sitcoms, and a range of other shows that contributed to PTV’s success in the entertainment sector, not only in Pakistan but also for fans worldwide. The inauguration ceremony held on Saturday was attended by Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Federal Information Minister, and Sohail Ali Khan, the Managing Director of PTV, along with several renowned celebrities, including Bushra Ansari, Khalid Abbas Dar, and Javed Sheikh.

The Information Minister praised PTV for embracing the modern era of digital broadcasting, where entertainment has shifted from televisions to smartphones and other gadgets. PTVFLIX will offer users access to the channel’s iconic drama and family entertainment content. The software is available on both Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
