Sports Advisor Wahab Riaz Inaugurates Cricket High Performance Center in Sialkot:
Wahab Riaz, the sports advisor to CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, recently inaugurated a cricket high-performance center in Sialkot. Sharing the center’s pictures on Twitter, he highlighted its state-of-the-art amenities and facilities for cricket training, coaching, and accommodation. The project, which cost approximately Rs 1 billion, was inaugurated in the presence of DG Sports Punjab, DC Sialkot, and officials from the Sialkot Chamber.
Since taking on the role of provincial sports advisor, Wahab Riaz has been actively engaged in promoting sports activities. He successfully organized the first-ever Ramadan ul Mubarak Sports Series, featuring a range of events such as badminton, hockey, cricket (tape ball), football, kabaddi, and table tennis. He also personally visited various sports grounds within the province, overseeing improvements to cricket, hockey, and football facilities.
Additionally, Wahab Riaz has announced the hosting of a summer camp starting from June 12. The primary objective of the camp is to encourage sports participation and healthy activities among children aged between 8 and 14. The camp offers coaching in 14 different sports disciplines, providing all the necessary equipment. Wahab Riaz encourages parents to take advantage of this opportunity, allowing their children to have a productive and engaging summer break.
