U.S. F-16 Fighter Jet Crashed in South Korea:
During a training flight, an American F-16 fighter jet experienced a crash near a military base in South Korea. The U.S. military has confirmed the incident, stating that the aircraft, assigned to the eighth fighter wing, went down in a field close to Osan Air Base at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday.
According to sources from the U.S. military, the pilot successfully ejected from the plane before the crash occurred. The pilot transferred to a local medical center, and fortunately, no casualties reported as a result of the accident.
Upon receiving the news, local South Korean rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene, and the fire extinguished by firefighters.
U.S. officials have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, although the pilot’s flight was described as a routine training mission.
