In a webinar conducted by Upwork officials Will Simpson, Jacobo & Katrina, Today on 15th of December 2021, Upwork has introduced a new feature of connecting Freelance experts with each other for greater collaborations.
Writing in an annuncement, Jacobo wrote;
Now you can do that and more. Find and connect with other professionals on Upwork so you can share ideas, compare notes, and collaborate to win bigger projects together.
This will be great way to explore the expertise of various experts in your personal network through Upwork also. So who were not willing to joining a new agency or were not feeling comfortable at creating a new agency, can create a Network & will able to collaborate easily.
Here is the brief procedure by Upwork:
- Firstly at “Your Network” dashboard, you can see other talent who are in your network. Also can add talent in your network.
- Click the “Add to Network” button will open a new page. Where you can search for talent through name or email.
- You can easily invite other talent to be part of your own network.
- You’ll then able to see the option to enter a brief message and indicate how you know the individual.
- Those to whom you invite will receive an invitation to join your network.
Currently this feature is available to selected experts. Those who are not currently eligible to access it are still able to accept the invitation from those who are interested in collaborating with them. In this way they can also be added to networks of other experts. Such experts will see a “Join to Waitlist” button instead of “Join Network” button for now.
