WhatsApp is continuously in a job to introduce new features to chatting service. Currently number of features are under development including preview of voice messages, a new user interface, Novi wallet and payment integration. This time WhatsApp is going to introduce new feature which contains additional drawing tools. Drawing tools will allow users to draw thick lines on images or videos before sending them to family and friends.
First of all, WABetaInfo reported these drawing tools. As in the latest Android Beta App 2.22.3.5 update there are three new tools available. Three sets of different-sized pens will introduce in drawing tools which indicates three size of tips will available. In all probability these tips will allow users to decrease or increase the width of pencil while drawing on images. A color texture is also in the screen shot which will allow to change the color of pen.
According to original reports WhatsApp will allow to blur images in additional feature which is currently under development for Android. There is possibility that feature may be working already on iOS. But we don’t have any info about its launch date.
Currently the blur feature and drawing tools are in development process and we don’t have further information of release date. The drawing feature may include some gifs and animations. Similar features are possible in Facebook, Instagram and Messenger, although no further details are known at this time.
