During the World Test Championship (WTC) final between Australia and India at The Oval, Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian spinner, garnered widespread appreciation for his kind gestures towards a Pakistani fan.
A video circulated on social media, capturing the moment when Harbhajan graciously gave an autograph to a Pakistani fan who had disabilities. This heartwarming act resonated with numerous people, earning admiration and respect for Harbhajan.
Throughout his illustrious career, Harbhajan played in 103 matches for Team India, impressively claiming 417 wickets with an economy rate of 2.84. Notably, 95 of those wickets were against the Australian team. In one-day cricket, he featured in 236 matches and took 269 wickets, achieving his best bowling figures of 5/31 against England in 2006.
Prior to the match, Harbhajan expressed confidence in the Indian batting lineup’s ability to excel on the challenging Oval track, following Australia’s dominant display in the first innings.
