Lahore Police Arrested a Gang Involved in Fake Currency Business:
During a series of operations conducted by Gulshan Ravi Police in Lahore, a drug dealer along with two individuals involved in the production of counterfeit money were apprehended. Police officials claim that the arrested individuals, namely Usman and Maqsood, have a reputation for producing and distributing counterfeit currency notes in Lahore and other areas.
As a result of these operations, counterfeit notes worth more than Rs 15 lakh were seized. During the investigation, the defendants confessed to being part of a larger gang involved in the trafficking of counterfeit money based in Karachi. The arrested individuals provided the names of 21 gang members involved in this illicit activity.
