PCB Demanding $25,000 Per Deal as USA’s Major League Cricket Approaches Players:
The management of Major League Cricket (MLC) has approached the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding the participation of national players in the league. According to sources, the PCB has agreed to allow Pakistani players to join the league, but with a specific condition.
Instead of issuing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to Pakistani players, the PCB has requested a fee of $25,000 for any national player selected in the MLC draft. Players who opt to participate in the league will be required to pay this compensation fee to the PCB.
A representative from the PCB stated that they will grant permission to Pakistani players once this condition is fulfilled. The Major League Cricket tournament is scheduled to take place in the United States from July 13th to July 30th and will feature top cricketers from around the world.
