Islamabad: Imran Khan -Prime Minister of Pakistan has inaugurated Scholarship Complaint Portal on last Thursday.
While addressing the ceremony Imran Khan said that in the past complaints of students were leave unnoticed. As they had to face a lot of difficulties to get theirs degrees and scholarships.
He claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf -PTI has introduced most advance portal system to solve the issues of citizens. The goal of this portal is to help the students regarding their problems as soon as possible.
Different councils of academics will monitor this Scholarship Complaint Portal and also portal will provide new courses with technical specialties for scholarships according to demand in market.
Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized the importance of taking advantage of the information technology revolution for the development of the country.
Shafqat Mahmood -Minister for Federal Education said while addressing in the event that government has increased number of scholarships for both postgraduate and under graduate students. Shafqat Mahmood added that we have built 28 new universities and released PKR 123 billion to Higher Education Commission.
Government of Pakistan is providing PKR 28 billion for scholarship programs to provide financial aids to deserving students. Nearly 2.6 million students in all over the Pakistan are availing scholarships and 72 % are women among these students.
