- Age: See the table above. Pakera says FPSC adds five years of general relaxation to the upper limit unless a case says otherwise.
- Qualification: It differs for each post. FPSC’s wording for your case decides. For example, Case 200 (Junior Scientific Officer, OS Directorate) needs a B.Tech in Textile or Mechanical. FPSC states a B.E. is not accepted.
- Experience: Some posts need a second-class degree or experience. Experience gained after you submit the form is not accepted.
- Domicile: Check the domicile column for your case before you pay.
- Government servants: You need a Departmental Permission Certificate first and must enter its reference number.

How to Apply
- Read the General Instructions and your case in the official advertisement.

- Enter an active email address and mobile number. FPSC says it will contact you by email and SMS only.
- Generate the PSID and pay the fee.
- Check your form and save the tracking details.
- Applications are online only. No hard copy is accepted.
- You can edit your application once before the closing date.
- For PIMS Professor and Associate Professor posts, each specialty needs its own application and fee.
- Applicants for the August PIMS Professor advertisement (Case 152) do not need to apply again.
After You Apply
- The admission certificate is posted online about two weeks before the test. Bring your original CNIC and a printed copy.
- FPSC says no separate notice is sent for the schedule or syllabus. Check the website.
- A test centre change is accepted only if requested within 10 days of the closing date.
- Do not bring a phone or any electronic device to the test hall. It leads to disqualification and a permanent ban from FPSC tests.
- Being asked for documents does not mean you are shortlisted. Incomplete documents can lead to rejection.
Beware of Fake Fees and Fake Websites
- Pay only through the PSID made on FPSC’s own system.
- Do not pay anyone who promises a job or a seat.
- Do not share your CNIC, OTP or form login with an agent.
What I Could Not Confirm
- I could not open FPSC’s own advertisement. Every detail here comes from one report, Pakera (7 November 2026), which says it used FPSC’s scanned advertisement. Check the original before you apply.
- The total of 278 seats, the grade counts and the degree grouping are Pakera’s own counts, not FPSC figures.
- The full qualification for each post.
- Test centres and the syllabus.
- The heading for Case 215 (Assistant Director Legal, Railways) is cut off in FPSC’s scan, so Pakera matched it from the case order.
This is general information, not an official notice.
